Traditional Tabata Training is a form of a H.I.I.T. workout that typically lasts 4 minutes. It consists of doing an exercise at high intensity (really ALL OUT) for 20 seconds, followed by a 10 second rest interval, repeating this sequence of 20 sec:10 sec work to rest ratio 8 times. This is an intense and highly time efficient way to exercise and condition the body both aerobically and anaerobically, significantly raising your metabolism and heart rate throughout the workout. Adonnics Tabata classes will apply many variations of this traditional style, working out for time with a given work to rest ratio.

The Gravity Training System is a versatile piece of equipment, incorporating many components of exercise: body composition, muscular endurance, cardio endurance, core strength, muscular strength and flexibility. The GTS machine generates over 250 exercises that work every major muscle group in a functional manner. The angled design of the machine, paired with the rolling glide board and dynamic arm cable system allows you to train more productively and more functionally using your own body weight as resistance.

This will be a traditional Bootcamp class that will incorporate the Gravity Training System (GTS) as one of the pieces of equipment. This class will now be open to all members whether you have the Bootcamp or GTS package. If you’ve never tried the GTS machine, now is your chance to get a taste of what it’s like!
This is a full body barbell workout that will increase your muscular strength and endurance. In 55 minutes, you will challenge all of your major muscle groups by using weight-room style exercises like squats, lunges, presses, lifts and curls etc… Guaranteed to get the results you want – fast!
Take your workout to the next level with High Intensity Interval Training. This class will build muscular strength and improve cardiovascular fitness & stamina through various exercises performed at specific intervals. H.I.I.T. Sessions will incorporate 3 different formats, keeping the challenge high during every class. A heck of a lot of work and NOT MUCH REST so get ready for the BURN!
Looking for a highly cardiovascular workout? Then this is the class for you! This 55 minute class is designed to challenge you while improving your coordination, agility and aerobic & anaerobic capacity. The basic bounce, alternate foot-steps, jumping jacks & double-unders are some of the basic skills that will be developed in this class. Although there is a high emphasis on jumping rope, there will be other pieces of equipment used to ensure you get a full body workout. Be prepared to sweat!
Don’t know what a kettlebell is? Picture a bowling ball with a handle. Kettlebell training is different than traditional weight training primarily because it allows you to target multiple body parts simultaneously. Each movement recruits muscles from the entire body, giving fast results for strength, endurance and muscle toning. In addition, kettlebell training elevates the heart rate guaranteeing an affective cardiovascular workout. This versatile piece of equipment can be used for both explosive movements (i.e kettlebell swings) and with more traditional exercises like the squat. The format of this class will change weekly, some being more technical, others being more free-style. If you are looking to REALLY challenge yourself, this is the class for you!
This class has the same description as above. The only difference being that it is not strictly a Kettlebell workout. Bosu Balls, Dynamax Balls, Jam Balls, Slam Balls, Stability Balls and Toning Balls will also be incorporated.
Come feel the burn and release your frustrations in this non-traditional boxing class. This sport is guaranteed to improve your cardiovascular endurance by providing a high-intensity, non-stop, calorie burning routine. Boxing will be paired with various secondary pieces of equipment to ensure optimal physical fitness. Never knowing what to expect because the style of the class will frequently change to challenge you both mentally and physically.

STRENGTH & POWER
See description for “Group Strength”. This class focuses on two important aspects of fitness – strength and power. One segment of the class targets building muscular strength on all muscle groups with the use of Heavy Dumbbells, Kettlebells, Plates and Resistant Bands. During the second segment, techniques applied in the ‘strength’ portion will be re-introduced to develop ‘power’.
Expect the “Deadly” combination of both the TRX and the Concept2 Rowers.
TRX Suspension Training is an amazing workout system that leverages gravity and body weight to perform hundreds of exercises that build strength and increase power, flexibility, balance and mobility. You are in complete control the degree of challenge desired because you can easily adjust the position of your body to either intensify or reduce the amount of resistance.
Rowing is a great strength and power-building exercise that works the entire body. The smooth and low-impact of the rowing motion is easy to learn and can challenge any fitness level.
Whether it is 5, 10, or 30 stations, standing still in this class is not an option.
